18 year old Single Malt Whisky from the Littlemill Distillery

This cask strength single malt whisky is from the famous Lowland distillery Littlemill and is a limited bottling of 290 bottles from Cask number 485.

Tasting Notes

Light smoke and mild spicy grass aromas lead to a sweeter maltiness and underlying gentle ginger spice before a stronger pepper tingle on the finish.

About The Distillery

Possibly one of the oldest distilleries in Scotland claiming to go back to 1772.  Unfortunately, it has now been partially dismantled with the remaining buildings nearly in ruin.  This Lowland site, at Bowling, is between Glasgow and Dumbarton.
